Anyone know of a good admin area script, that I can use my own template with? Basically all I want to do is add articles from this admin area and have them be posted on my site...It might not even require an admin area, just some simple script that can add articles..

Thanks in advance!

Because those are generally pretty ugly, and I don't know how to skin them myself

Pretty Ugly, what do you mean by this. When last have you used Joomla?

Try using includes.

-> Put this code in your layout where you want content to appear

Code:
<?php include 'includes/file'?>

And make a file in that dir structure.
Very useful, just update the file you have in the include directory to show the content you want
