How Do YOU Conduct Scans?

Glabnet, Shenron and a few others have constantly astounded me by scanning all the remaining domains in a particular category like 4L.nets etc.

So, how exactly do you do it? I did a bit of research and found a couple of softwares like Expired Domain Eppire, Repo Domains etc but nothing was so good.

Like, Expired Domain Empire allowed you to scan the 4L.nets but didn't let you filter by letters. It also, didn't allow any characters.

Care to enlighten me?

I don't use anything really special, just go to Glabnet's site LLLY.net and download the BulkDomainsCheck software. It's free.
Together with the 4letterappraisal, those are damn usefull to me.

But how do you filter them on the basis of letters? Let's say triple premium + U,J,K,Y etc.

The software has a nice permutation option, you just need to play with the combinations there.
You can also scan all and then filter using the other software I've showed you.
Sometimes it's what I do.

I use Domain Name Analyzer Professional.

I write simple php scripts to generate the letter combinations I want.

an example for L-LL

$alpha = "a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z";

$x = explode(" ",$alpha);

foreach($x as $v1)
{
	foreach($x as $v2)
	{
		foreach($x as $v3)
		{
			
			echo $v1."-".$v2.$v3."<br />";
		}
	}
}

You don't need to append any tld in the script, the software adds whichever tlds you choose.

Thanks for the resource but I don't really understand how to use it.. Blame it on the lack of sleep or whatever but everything seems to be so darn complicated...
Could you explain a bit more about how the thing works?
