How do I properly clean this lens?

Extremely small PDA camera lens...speck of dust that just won't go away. How do I properly clean it?

Spit on it and then dry it with a Brillo Pad.

lol, are you sure the speck of dust is on the outside of the lens? I once had dust INSIDE the lens on my camera phone.

I would use either a clean 100% cotton cloth or get some compressed air.

Yea I tried compressed air - didn't work that well - and I stopped when the label warned against use on lenses.
