How do I nab a Namejet pre-release name after auction closed with no bidders?

If I miss (forget to) placing a bid a pre-release name I wanted at Namejet, which closed with no other bids, what is the best way to try and pick it up after that before someone else does when it actually drops and becomes available?

Uh, yeah, I know that.

Is there any service that can help be get it though, at this point?

The domain will probably drop then.
Maybe the current holder is still able to renew the domain.

You have a few options..It kinda depends on how long you have before the drop day..

A) Use drop catching software to try and catch the domain yourself once it drops. If it's a .COM/.NET domain then it will drop between 1PM-3PM CST on its drop date.
B) There are other places you can submit backorder requests aside from just NameJet/SnapNames..Places like DynaDot/Pheenix/BackorderZone/GoDaddy will all let you backorder a domain (some on a first come, first serve basis) and charge less then NJ/SN. The only thing is, these backorder services usually can't beat NJ/SN so if there is a bid on one of those two sites you probably won't get it anywhere.
