Hi everyone,

I received a couple days ago an offer for one of two word domain I own with strong keywords and need your advice to successfully close the deal.
The buyer made an offer of $500 and said he's wanting the domain for an education project. After some research I found his claim to be true and he has some websites in this niche but with ugly domain names.
Then I countered with $25,000 and didn't heard from him until I followed up asking if he still interested in the domain name, to witch he just answered " we are able to pay $1,000 for this domain". I countered with $23,000 and said some merits about the domain.
It's been two days now and didn't get any answer. How do I go from here? Do I have to wait some days or even some weeks before following up?

Thank you in advance for your valuable advices.

WealthBoss in king is only worth what someone is willing to pay!
If you want 5-7K for this domain, followup with the buyer and propose a "lease to own" option to make payments for lets say 6k.
Their reply will tell you how much they are willing to pay really, and how "bad" do they want your name.

Look this up: https://namebio.com/?s=QN1gzMykTO
I would price this name in the 1.5K-4k range just based on a quick glance at previous sales...
I am not saying asking 7k is crazy, I am just saying that you will SPOOK lots of people with a 20k valuation....

I would price them both at $3-5K.

You need to remember that Uniregistry has professional brokers that often call up wealthy companies and work leads up to the figures you see on namebio. It's not easy to get $10K in an email exchange if their first offer is $500.

I handled the inquiry for the first domain mentioned as it came in voodoo marketplace. The second one was handled by a Uniregistry broker who asked for 12k.

Also if they ignore or don't reply to your proposal, don't give in yet...
Ask them simply: "what can you do to make this work?"
Remember they contacted YOU, so they are on your time. You don't need to sound desperate or anything just keep them on the hook rather then just dismissing their inquiry after 1-2 exchanges.

The domain is Wealth/Boss/com and I had have another inquiry the same week on Wealth/Tank/com but this time from someone from USA meanwhile the former inquiry was from Canada.

the second name ix extremely valuable - don't sell that for $1000

but for either name to teach people how to be wealthy etc one would assume any tutor would be wealthy etc its not for me to say

but the second one has a lot going for it i .com too

and the first one having the desirable boss in a .com

only you know what the domains stand you at and how long you are prepared to wait for profit or renew a few times to get a much higher price

The counter that you made actually killed space for negotiations if any was remaining. If you were happy with it selling for 5k to 7k, initial asking price should not have been that high. Best of Luck
