How do I get an eNom domain in "Reactivation Period"?

Hey guys,

I'm new here on Namepros, but I've been on the Digitalpoint forums for 6-7 years.

I have found a domain name I really would like to use for my business, but unfortunately, it is already registered.

However, the administrative and technical contact is "Reactivation Period" - the whois returns this:

Administrative Contact:

Reactivation Period
+1.4252744500
Fax: +1.4259744791
15801 NE 24th Street
Bellevue, WA 98004
US

Technical Contact:

Reactivation Period
+1.4252744500
Fax: +1.4259744791
15801 NE 24th Street
Bellevue, WA 98004
US

I can see that it went into that reactivation period in August this year with DomainTools.

So looks like the previous owner let it expire, but eNom catched that domain.

I wrote to eNom yesterday about buying the domain, but haven't got reply yet.

Then I found Namejet. The domain I want isn't listed there, but I made a bid with Backorder Wishlist anyways.

Does anyone have experience with buying domains in reactivation period?

Is it possible to buy them? Or will I have to wait until next year (more likely: find another domain)?

Will eNom maybe put it on auction on Namejet, now that I've shown my interest?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

It really depends on the domain - can you pass the whois reg, exp dates?

Sure!

Creation date: 0X Aug 2008
Expiration date: 0X Aug 2013

Can you confirm what is the whois status? It seems that the domain is not on reactivation or expiration period (maybe it was simply in this status before and after it was reactivated, the owner did not update the contacts. If the date shows Aug 2013, then it is still in its normal status and not heading to the drop yet. The only possibility is to negotiate it with the current owner.
