How do I fix this?

WHen we send emails using OUTLOOK this attachment somehow attaches itself to the email.

Also sometimes when we try to send an attachment this comes up as well and the attachment does not work.

This is what is written

Attachments: winmail.dat(< 0.01 MB)

no it's not a virus or trojan, usually happens when you host your email using ms exchange.
