hi,

it's recently come to my attention that one of my domains may conflict with a registered TM. i don't want to create any trouble, so if that company gets in touch with me, what's the easiest way of dropping / cancelling the domain so i don't get sued?

all advice gratefully received!

If you get contacted by the TM holder, they will not sue you right away, but ask you to transfer the domain to them. If you don't, they'll sue you. So, the easiest method is to let it expire or send it to them if they ask for it.

I agree with vip-ip. One more thing...in the meantime, don't use the name to advertise products or services similar to those of the TM holder. If you do, you are more likely to be sued.

If you're really bent on having the domain deleted, just ask the registrar how.
