when it's clearly a TM? I don't get it, people on these domain forums always say "TM TM TM" but when you look at tdnam.com or sedo, there are tons of them selling for thousands, what gives?

That's a good question. I don't get it sometimes either. Not only TDnam or Sedo are dealing with trademarked domains, but also many others like BuyDomains, Marchex have huge portfolios of trademarked domains for sale to public.

A domain name by itself doesn't infringe any TM. It's the content you put on the website which infringes TMs.

People look for good typos all of the time because the risk doesn't really outweigh the profits that can be in store for cybersquatters.
