.tv How are first names selling?

I would have thought that first names would really sell on the tv extension. However, I don't really see many sales reported.

What you guys think? You think they could be a good investment? I suppose the downside is they're really only gonna be wanted by people with that name so high values might not be achievable.

I only own two but have thought about buying some more.

I have one..its a German female first name " Beate " which is sononomisis with adult kinda stuff..

i origionaly aquired it for my then wife now X, whos name is Beate and have no real use for it and would like to unload it..

and i do mean yet- i think people will at some point try to latch on to their name, and if its a popular name, well then.....

I sold Till.tv on sedo recently......I didn't know it was a first name until I looked at the whois and saw that it was the name of the person who bought it.

I agree I thought more would sell too, but outside of Jack.tv it has been quiet on the sales end. One reason might be RH is that a lot are Premium and unregged. I own Nadine.tv which gets 3 uniques a day, I also own Nadinetv.com which does not do as well as the .tv for traffic.

I picked up Jaden.tv awhile back and it gets a few dozen hits a day and is increasingly getting more traffic. I think if you get a good, popular name they are worth hanging onto. Jaden was voted in the top 5 most popular names in the US the past couple of years... I think if you can get a name with popularity they are worth it... and for normal reg.

It was regged Dec 06 Privacy protection, parked at SEDO only 133 a month parked at SEDO nothing special my NADINE does that and I would think Britney should have 10 times the traffic.

yeah- i had it like less than 2 week i think- maybe a week- someone here made an offer to push it to sedo auction for 500.00- and it took off-
its a cool name, but, now i wish i would have kept it. but dont we all think that months later
