I started regging domain names a couple months ago. Some are investments. Some I plan on developing. I posted some of these when I first got them but would love opinions after I've learned a bit. I only have 17 domain names and would love your opinions on my small portfolio:

My Favorites
Annapolis.MD - annapolis is capital of maryland and sailing capital of world
Myrtle-Beach.sc - myrtle beach in south carolina, myrtle-beach.com sold for 25k
GetLoans.us
CheapComputers.cc
BracketBall.net - develop into site for ncaa basketball tourny pools
VerseVault.com - music lyrics website

Dot INFO
ecyclopedia.info
e-cyclopedia.info
getticket.info
gettickets.info
ipostocks.info
TerroristThreat.info

Also have some throwaways from my first couple days... as I'm sure many people do... Thanks in advance!

I think every single one of those .info's is good, rare for me to say, good job. I think each of them is worth mid $$, with encyclopedia.info being worth high $$.

Encyclopedia.info WOULD be worth X,XXX

All depends on your typo though. Nice names. I didn't get Myrtle-Beach at first, but now i see your logic. Niice name.

the .infos

While the N in encyclopedia is missing for these domains, I do not consider them typos. I think e-cyclopedia is a term that could be coined for an online encyclopedia (like the e in ebay).

While I think .infos have a ton of potential, I have a feeling it will be years before they start to really pay off. Until then, it is a reg fee risk year after year.

Personally, I think some of my favorites could go for low $xx,xxx with the right end user.

Thanks... any more opinions?

first hint - don't try to "coin" your own term. That is a risky noob manuever.

On the positive side, annapolis.md and myrtle-beach.sc show real creative use of secondary tlds and would be worth a minimum of $150 each in my opinion.

Nice start!

These names are worth at least reg fee since you did register them. With that being said, you should read a bit more about domains and learn what you can from veterans before you find yourself having spent $5k or the like over a period of time on nothing but bad names...it's been done before and it's still being done today. Pay attention to what you register because domains like annapolis.md and e-cyclopedia.info are perfect examples of what not to register.

me too annapolis.md is ok, maybe cyberserf has no experience of selling secondary tld's successfully. e-cyclopedia.info is the only total waste. My favourite is definitely terroristthreat.info. Contact me if you want to sell!

All the names here should turn you enough make a profit, but some are real niche names that it is hard to predict what an end user would pay. Mostly mid $xx I think though.
