The reason I believe the domains could be good are the fact that California is currently issuing billions in IOUs, and the big banks are no longer accepting them. The private market for IOUs is ramping up. Big banks to stop accepting California IOUs - Jul. 9, 2009

The Got Milk? campaign has made phrases constructed that way very popular.

The search volume is not large for IOUs yet, but when more people have to deal with them, it should increase. There is some belief that California state workers will start getting paid with them: The Associated Press: Talks resume in addressing Calif.'s $26B deficit

If the budget crisis resolves itself quickly, then the value drops, of course.

Well the market for Stocks or Photographers or Homes is established, doesn't mean that GotStocks.com, GotPhotographers.com or GotHomes.com (undeveloped) have much value. So IOUs - doesn't mean GotIOUs.com has much value even if IOUs become a mainstream market.

I am a developer, but I understand the value of timing, and I have other responsibilities.

In your experience, does a developed site without traffic command a higher price than a bare domain?

Quickly, i would say yes..
You have a domain
You have a site...
Now finds ways to get traffic...
One of my parked porn domains gets like 60-120 Uniques/day.
I guess you gotta do some SEO work.. Maybe buy traffic to start.. I dont know..

Im sure im one of the many domainers who wish they were developers.. Your gonna do good, get some more advice to..
