Only 260 monthly exact searches, but Estibot (for what it's worth) says $960. Realistically what can I expect?

And also, do I go after chimney vent manufactures or installers? I'm thinking the domain would be more valuable to manufacturers.

Thanks in advance!!

Are there companys that only make Chimney Vents and do they call them that and not flutes or whatever. And are these search really just "my cat caught in the chimney vent " Too much to think about in a small amount of time. Goodluck

Going to have to say mid $xx to high $xx.
To a end user the price can be unpredictable. Good Luck :)

Well, the best domain is parked and for sale.
You should of got that one instead of this one.
ChimneyVents.com

So you might get reg fee.

In this case, estibot, like other valuators, just take the keywords and put a value out there.
Without taking into consideration the words together mean crap.

Why valuators are not that good really.

$1.00.

This is NOT a horrible domain.

I have seen much worse. However, I don't think I've ever heard the term so not sure if that's a valid appliance. My appraisal is based on the tried and true Esti-Three Method*. Basically you just take the Estibot valuation and move the decimal three places to the left. Unless you have a specific development plan, I would suggest a painless separation using the grace delete protocol.

Good luck and may the force be with you! :)

Thanks for everyone's replies! I appreciate it. The phrase I see the most is "chimney vent cap" but there are a few manufacturers and retailers listing just a "chimney vent". I will contact them and see what I can get.

iowadog: I'm curious as to how "Chimney Vents" with 110 exact match searches is more desirable than "Chimney Vent" with 260 exact match searches.

Thanks again for everyone's help.

Hi

1. people want a selection to view, if they would ever search for such a thing.

to make sure if nothing else, that the vent fits the chimney

therefore vents instead of vent

2. higher exact match numbers for related terms in comparison, do not automatically equate to desirability.

lastly, i'd guess that majority of people would search for "chimney repair" and have a qualified person install that part, rather than purchasing themselves and it be a diy thing.

imo...

This is exactly right. Having a few more searches is not always the better half.

Something like ChimneyVentCleaner.com or ChimneyVentCleaning.com would better IMO (both available).

But personally I would not invest in names like this.

Alot back-end work for a very small ROI is not worth the effort.

Reg-fee.
