Hosting business question

I don't currently have a hosting business, but am thinking of starting one up. A restraunt near me is paying 10x more than they should be (I looked up thier nameservers and found the host). Would it be too wierd to contact local businesses in your area that have a website and tell them that you can give them a better deal on hosting?

No it wouldnt be wierd.. Thoe dont go spamming their email boxes.. Find another method of contacting them or placing your advert infront of them..

Not weird. Practical. But be sure you have a professional looking website to send them too and a card or brochure.
