That's it? Just because it's not searched much? I guess you guys don't "feel" the "Hun" part, yes? I expected as much.

It's the brandability that I'm more concerned about, not how many people search on "ZioNazi"Google. Anyway... thanks for your opinions fella's. I won't be putting up anymore posts in this section ever again, that's for sure!!!

If you are looking for an appraisal on the domain itself undeveloped, I would say reg fee.

However, like you said it does have brandability and so you need to develop it into something.

Thanks matey. That's the kind of response I was looking for. ;)

I hope you are not looking just for good "responses".

If you are going to keep your eyes closed and get upset for realistic appraisals you don't need to start a new thread so you can get some kind of satisfaction out of the "good appraisals". Take it both ways, at the end, Namepros will be here with or without you.

It's this a typo for hosthunT.com?

If not I'll say REG FEE to Zero. If you have some really good plans for it with something completely unique and original idea then it's a different story.

Good Luck!

HostingHun.com is just as brandable and free to reg., thats one problem I can see. Its 3 more letters in length but it looks/sounds just as good.

Brandable names are everywhere, I have many, nothing wrong with them at all but dont expect everyone to see them as you do.

No offense, but I just don't see it in HostHun.com

I don't see any sales with "Hun" as a brandable word. I think there are probably more brandable Host<Word>.com still available.

I am glad you are excited about it, but you should listen to all comments and not just the comments you like.

reg fee IMO.
Even it may be brandable, I don't see much value in it.

The void you leave behind will be hard to fill.

Value = 10$
Development and branding potential : - Excellent

{Just don't do what you did with SwiftWebHosting
(WWD reseller hosted on free Godaddy page with crap adsense ad placement}.

Good - Because as an Australian domainer , I am embarassed when a fellow Australian domainer makes a fool of themselves with Rascist, pointless, and reactionary posts. Using references to words like Zion and Nazi's do nothing to enhance your reputation and credibilty.

I am sorry but I donโ€™t see any germ of brandability in HostHun.com. Get refund if you can. This is my honest opinion. :)

Wow...
Thanks to all for your contibutions. It was pretty much the response I expected, to my dissapointment. But all opinions are fair enough. Believe me, I didn't expect someone to jump up and down and tell me it's worth $50 or $500. That means absolutely NOTHING to me. I just don't understand the logic some of you use sometimes in estimating a value fo a domain. I mean, just because a domain doesn't contain 'searchable keywords', doesn't mean it has no value. Did words like "Twitter", "Yahoo" or "Google" ever have great "search volumes" in their beginnings? I don't think so! Even now there are many domains that have obscure or weird names, but they're the one's that seem to do well it seems, as long as it is brandable (memorable), of course.

Here's a BIG prediction folks. I bet you guys, that within 5 years (even within 3), you will all be concentraing on the "brandability worth" of a domain, rather than 'keyword search volumes' that come with it. People will very soon realise that registering a decent 2 or 3 worded domain name will be very hard to find. So, they may very well start to come up with short brandable words that have hardly any meaning, or no meaning at all! It may even be a catchy sound? But the point is, brandability will become more important than mere search engine keyword volume.

And barefoottech? There is NOTHING racist about what I said. Get your facts straight mate. YOU ARE THE EMBARRASSMENT HERE. If you know Zionism as I have seen and know, you will also see them akin to Nazi's. BTW FYI, Zionism is a political movement, not a religion or race. And Nazi's are downright evil. I have nothing against Jews whatsoever (I do have Jewish friends and work colleagues). It's just Zionism I have I huuuuge problem with ... and ANYONE that stands up for it. Remember this... Judaism is okay... Zionism... NO WAY!

Sorry to divert the topic gang.

Thanks again.

Every domain you listed has value based on development and not the domain itself. You can add value to any domain with development. Ebay is about a mid $XXXX domain as a brandable LLLL.com, but it is development that makes it worth billions.

Many of the people above know the value of brandables, and just don't think this is that brandable. The are plenty of similar domains available and Hun is not exactly a popular ending word.

The thing with brandables is you need to find a buyer who likes it as much as you. It is easier to have an end user see the value in a keyword domain.

Thanks Brad, I agree with you 100%. I don't think HostHun is a huge brandable name, but in the very competitive hosting industry, it sure is nice to have a short domain like this. HostGator comes to mind for example. Nothing special about the name yeah? But damn... everyone knows the "Gator" now don't they? Just like they will remember the "Hun" of hosting. :kickass: hopefully... hehe

Cheers.

It will have more value if it is developed in some way. As a name HostGator.com is not that great. Development is what gives most brandable domains value.

It is impossible to value development. These forums are populated by domain resellers.

Resellers are just judging the value of a domain itself without development.
