I started hosting with hostedfx about a week ago. Seemed nice, only $10 for the first month and 1 month free, and fairly cheap price for regular reccuring.

Boy was I wrong. Yes, they have 24/7 support. But when you go to support, it's not even the same company! They don't even know what hostedfx is and if you have a real problem they don't even help you. So ok, you have to go play the ticket/case game now. Well i've had a case open to install cpanel(the thing im paying $8/mo extra for) and they've left it open for weeks with no help.

This company is run by a baboon appparently.

I decided to contact the live support center and ask a question. The technician has accepted the live chat request, but when I asked technical question, the technician went offline and no longer came online on live support.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience with hostedfx.com. For future reference, I'd definitely do a quick search on the company before ordering just to make sure they legitimate (look for reviews mainly). If you haven't already, definitely backup your website and move it elsewhere.

Maybe they're outsourcing support. It's a common enough practice in the hosting industry.

Brandon, Not sure of what requirements you were looking for in your hosting but I'm pretty sure you could have found someone from Namepros who could have provided you with a decent account for under $10 per month. Check the marketplace hosting section.

Not for each web hosting provider. But some yes. I suppose if that is working properly there is nothing bad about that there
