HOLY CRAP > Poker Domains worth tons a click!

I brought 7poker7.com hearing that poker domains could get a good penny every click. I never knew that it would bring that much of a good penny per click! I got two clicks and they added up to 3.61!!! I have a $/Click of $1.81. I suggest you all go out and buy a poker domain and park it somewhere.

Hey, in all seriousness, appreciate it. Had a couple I was thinking about and you gave me the impetus to move on them. So, i picked up my first Poker domains today. Yeah!

I also searched and found a couple of "quick picks" - searched approx 100-150 names, and must say, the field has been unbelievably picked over. Like finding a needle in a haystack. I mean when names like , PokerCigars.com, PokerRocks.com, RocknPoker.com, OKpoker.com, and PokerOgre.com are gone, (no offense, intended) you know you are in a competitive market So, let's see, I picked up 5 .coms.

I also use Sedo, so I'm off to get them listed. Congrats on your ppc!

Did not reg any of them but lot of good words if you don't mind the '-' which might not be to bad cause I doubt finding typein names is impossible.

But did you buy expired domains with traffic or did you reg it brand spankin' new?

I bought a couple of poker domains a while back and parked them on SEDO and I never got a click on any of them. Not even at Fabulous.

I have outrunpoker.com parked on Sedo an I've gotten only 1 hit so far this month. I have the keyword optimizer set for "poker games". Why ain't I gettin' no money?!?!

I think you must have snatched up a name that had existing traffic or something!

Interesting thread.

As someone who clears $2k a month in poker revs i would suggest (to my detriment if you go on to steal my traffic ) that you develop any poker names you have. Affiliate sign ups are as high as $200 a throw now, unlimited cookie length, lifetime commission on players - which begs the question, "why park..?"

And Mike, i think you'll find names are as bout as easy to find as a piece of hay in a massive stack full of needles....

Ahh.. the voice of reason. I almost got out there earlier, but I did the wise thing, reeled in the impulsiveness, (yay!), and am sitting on my list overnight. I've spent most of the evening searching away, and as sometimes happens, one search segued me into another, in this instance, an area of breaking commerce technology that has been discovered, but has not mined to the same extent as poker has been mined. I will add, however, that I did see an inordinant percentage of recent regs (ie. Apr/May 05), relative to the norm. Someone could still get lucky w/ an avail poker domain, but the odds aren't as good as they were 2-3 years ago. I found a couple that I like, but who knows? :tri:
