Hi- was hoping to get some opinions on what Holography[dot]tv was worth.

Not sure if everyone realizes it, but the field of holography is moving by leaps and bounds. The days when princess leia in Star Wars coming out of a projection from R2-D2 is no longer science fiction. There are tests going on in many labs worldwide to bring holography to both movie theaters and television itself. Digital cinema (not using actual "film") is being slowly actually rolled out in some select cinemas worldwide and holographic movie screens will not be too far behind. Similarly high-def tv is becoming standard next year and eventually all tv's will be holographic as well.

I know this is a domain that you park and forget about for 10 years but the upside potential is huge.

I would like to get opinions on what it's current value is and what everyone thinks it will be 10 years from now once this technology is more mainstream.

I know for some it being a .tv will minimize it's value but .tv is getting much stronger and i think the extension actually lends itself well to this subject. It is not wrenches.tv or something nonsensical and like most media/movie/television keywords I think holography is well suited for a .tv extension.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks very much!

I'm seeing people viewing the thread but no opinions thus far. I realize because of the forward thinking nature of this domain it is kind of hard to valuate but just wondering if anyone has any opinions on it. Thanks-
