or how about a brainwave-activated keyboard?

We’ve already discussed the anachronism that is the PC-102 button keyboard and its possible brainwave-activated replacement. Alas that was one gadget that won’t be ready for another 5 to 10 years, but this fantastic-looking, futuristic, touch sensitive keyboard is available now for £130 ($230); appropriately enough from “Iwantoneofthose.com”.

I dunno...I'm happy with what I have now. :) But that would be really portable!

Didn't they always have these? I've seen them many times on the internet.

The hologram/projection keyboards have been around for a couple years... but the brainwave one is what they said wouldn't be available for a while.

it seems kinda nice... but I don't want to type in the air, I want something that can be pressed.

That would feel funny....I think I'd rather type on a normal keyboard, you can call me old fashioned if you like :)

not sure but can other people see the keyboard from plain view?

otherwise you would look like a complete dumb*** for just stretching your fingers in mid air and looking like your typing no? :) :)

Makes a lot of sense! I like the sounds too (it's also a confirmation that the letter has been keyed in). :D

hologramkeyboard.net is still available to register. Someone might be interested to get this one.
