Hi all. Is there a way to manually adjust a FrontPage hit counter?

This is like the fourth time my counters have gotten reset from having to reinstall FrontPage extensions.

The counter in question is this one here on my website, www.deefrag.com (right under the copyright notice). It's cryptic, and only there for personal reference, but I want it to be accurate. Don't worry; I'm not trying to impress my geocities friends. Thanks.

If it's made with frontpage extensions, it will be reset every time you reinstall them. They only way to fix that would be to get a new one. There are loads of types for free, just have a quick google.

I designed a simple website with FrontPage 2002 and the hit counter never worked altough I tried every possible way to install it.

At the end I gave up and then I discovered statcounter.com. I can't recommend it highly enough. It does everything you could possibly wish and it is free and very easy to install.

Also, if your webserver supports PHP (most, if not all, paid ones do) then you can try bbclone, can't remember the site so google it.

Thanks. I'm trying some of those other hit counters (starting with statcounter... good so far :))

But, so, there's no way to adjust the FrontPage ones?
