Hijacked browser

I have a domain parked at Sedo, but when I type it into my browser (Firefox), the domain is essentially hijacked as it is redirected (through multiple sites) to end up at some website that is nothing of my doing.

I have just run anti-malware SW and it came up with nothing.

But this has happened at least a few times recently and is very troubling.

Does anyone know what could be the cause? Help/advice?

I would say this is pretty normal. It happened to me on few domains as well on domain sponsor. I believe you are redirected to advertiser page and you actually get paid. It works more like if i domain is on zero click but it's not because it can go back to normal if you refresh the page.

Opt out of Zero-click at Sedo if you don't want this happening. I agree that it can be annoying especially if you prefer to have the landing page to let people know it's for sale.

You are on a "Zero_Click : Redirect"

You get paid no matter what and the parking company redirects the customer to a landing page right away. No clicking at all.

I want to add one point
Few domains which does not get any click may earn more with Zero Click. so may be Sedo auto optimized as Zero click is best suited of your domain

Example. you get 50 visitors per day and u get 1 or 2 clicks with low earnings...
for same thing If these 50 visitors are redirected to direct advertisement ( zero click ) you may end up earning more.

drawback is.. if you want to sell this name also. then visitors may not see inquire about this domain or for sale banner....
