The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
GoDaddyGoDaddy
60k google results. I would say low to mid $ xxx.
Good luck.

Every one has his own opinion, If you dont like to have opinions, You should not ask for opinions.

Yes indeed you have right. But I still believe that it's worth a little bit more.

You should rate opinions against trader rating too. The one who appraised at XXX have no trader rating, and the other guy have of 10.

Yes you have right again, but I rather trust more my instincts than a high rated trader(no offense). But anyway, I consider EACH opinion, and I bring thanks to everybody which offer it's judgement. Still names with "Prize" are hard to be founded special at *.com domains. So I still wait others to join the appraisal. Thanks again

Wrong

Dot Com domains with prize in the word aren't hard to find at all.

Go to dotster, type in prize and look at "alternate suggestions":

You'll find such names as:
universalprize.com
etprize.com
onprize.com
xpprize.com
rankprize.com
nowprize.com
madprize.com
ourprice.com
seeprize.com
and the list goes on and on and on...

More over... what does high prize mean? Nobody would really be searching for information about "high prize" unless it was a branded company, end user, yada yada

The $xx is more than accurate... and yes... trader rating DOES matter. Would you feel more comfortable buying a mortgage for a newbie or an industry professional with years of experience. Exactly. Look at my trader rating... it's non-existant! So, perhaps you should take my advice with a grain of salt. However, being an Advertising Executive, I feel I have some background that transfers to the domain world.

Good luck

I agree. Low-Mid $xx

I think MadPrize.com from the list above is a better domain that HighPrize.com

HighPrize doesnt make much sense. It would be better as something like BigPrize(s) etc

Good luck with it anyway

:)

(trigatch4)I see that you mix here the "price" word with the "prize" word. The prize equals "award", and HighPrize it's an high (big) award/prize etc. And so the name can be used at lots of games(like poker, casino, etc) and many others. But again who knows... you can be right and get stuck with the name... Anyway I believe that the *.com names are more and more buyed, and so the value of each name with sense and potential might grow. Thanks for your opinion.

Buyed isn't really a word... but besides that low $XX imo

Slip Up

I knew you meant pri(z)e and not pri(c)e

If you owned the ourprice.com that I listed on accident... I would say that domain is worth high $x,xxx but you don't... you own highprize.com

I suggest you read around the appraisals section and see what other names go for. And, perhaps more importantly, take a look at what has ALREADY sold on sedo and afternic. It will help you to appraise your own names.

But you must admit that this also depends of a certain dose of luck.I saw domains much more silly than this(let's say) sold at high xxxx or more. So this it's it.. you never know, my friend.. you never know...

you're right

you're right.... you never know....

but there are ways to increase your chances of success. You don't buy the crappiest stocks hoping that "you never know, they could always rise". You look for the best potential and invest.

That's what domain names are like - buying what is seen as the "best investments" and holding for a good sale. Of course, you could call having some wacky ridiculous domain names "diversifying your portfolio" and that's fine. But it should be the EXCEPTION to the rule

Names like FictionCars.com make no sense and there is no real point in registering them. Nobody will ever buy this

If you type on google "fiction car" , you got : >20k , AND if you type "car fiction" , you got >900 results. And FictionCar.com can always become a great site of car prototypes. And if I never sell it... lol.. no problem, I'm a beginner, I can make mistakes, 10 dollars=one night in town..

only $10?

So only 2 drinks and you're done for the night? Talk about a lightweight!

I like the name, good for a lottery or gambling web site. I would say around low XXX.

All the best,
