Established High Traffic URL Shortening Service for Sale

Hi Everyone,

I am now thinking of selling my URL shortening service, seeing as school is keeping me away from working on it.

The domain is www.miturl.com, and it is over 2 years old.

The site has only been mine since about the end of may, at which point I started to fix it up, and promote it only through Namepros. The site has a great admin backend which allows you to see all the shortened links made, and delete the ones you do not approve of. You can also change the length of the loader page, or get rid of it all together!

I really have left it alone since about august, and traffic keeps growing! Last months traffic was over 21K UVs, and this month is on track for about the same! With a little bit of promotion, it will be easy to more than double the sites traffic!

With regards to income, I have done a very poor job monetizing the site. I have made about $25 from Adbrite in about 2 months, and about $10 in private ad sales (Adbrite proof attached).

I have never sold a site before, and would really just like to see what kind of offers I get (with the permission of the forum moderator). Please dont try to lowball me, as I will not accept offers I do not believe are fair.

i would make an offer if the site worked...

every time i submit a site all i get is the following:

Your new short link: http://www.miturl.com/

Could be the reason for the low ball offers.

Domainstaff you are very right - thanks for pointing that out! I am not sure why it has stopped working, but it seems to still be okay as long as you enter a custom tag. I am looking into it as we speak.

I am currently investigating the problems with the site, but I wanted to make clear that the site will come with the original version of the script, which can easily be re-installed. It is a urlfuse-pro script.

Hello Josh,

Have you tried google adsense with it? and honestly how much money you made with it per day...

also does it require a mysql database to record all shortened urls? and if so, how much databse size it consume in the host backend?
