---High Profile Names--- (1 maybe?)

gay.cn - Available! (I looked this one up because I was like holy shit. It is available on the whois records, check yourself, but all registars say it's taken, I'm curious if china has a ban on gay as a domain name)

My conclusion is that finding .CN names available is hard! If there is only this handfull of names left for .CN out of 1916 checked, then it must be a good domain to register and consider, anyways gtg, enjoy the list!

What good are these? They are all in English! Useless.

Chinese people speak Chinese. The Chinese government is even promoting δΈζ–‡.CN and δΈζ–‡.δΈε›½ resolves.

There is NOTHING wrong with that list. Reging english names with a .CN ex is not a bad thing, it is just an uncalculated risk.

Everybody is entitled to there opinion , but why would you reg a domain that fits a chinese extension with english keywords , when the opportunity presents itself to reg a domain with chinese words with a chinese ext. ?

ie ;Thats like Regn 不動産 = Real Esate 不動産.US what sense does this make ? When you could buy RealEstate.Us

thegenius1, so what about all the other English names in all the other crazy ccTLD's? Why are those doing so good?

Poker.__ can sell for $2k even if the country speaks a language that no one knows.

You and your couple of IDN buddies are the only ones who have problems with these.

Thanks for the words everyone, I'm going to ADD IDN capabilities to my searches soon with words lists from JAPAN/CHINESE CHARACTERS (since I have a background in japanese kanji this won't be too hard). Look forward to it next friday in an update.

By the way I should note that english words are registerting VERY well on .CN compared to other TLD's, I know since I've done the search with these very same words (thousand most common, and second most thousand common) in every popular TLD so far, and .CN I must say has the most registered amount of those names of any TLD, and every .COM from my word list is taken, with very few .NET remaining. .CN had less than 100 words available out of the 1900 I checked! So someone apparently likes english .CN words.

I can do another search in .CN later. This search was done with version 1.2 of my software program dnfinder, it's now going to 1.4 on late tuesday night, or wednesday before noon.

i dont think that they are of high quality.

Chinese people speak Chinese, they also use PINYIN. a PINYIN.cn is more valuable than an IDN.cn .if an ENGLISH word.cn domain ,of course, except the very hot word, such as sex, car, auto, movie~~~~ is too complex to spell, they will turn to an easier web instead!

for example, Google is the bigest search engine all over the world, but it is defeated by BAIDU.com in China. Baidu.com take more than 60% of the searching market of China and Google the 20%.one important reason is that BAIDU is much easier spelled than Google for the Chinese
