Hello all,
My name is Neil, I am a born again Christian, married for 28 years and have 2 grown kids. We all live in San Diego, CA. A wonderful place to live! I am a former COBOL and BASIC programmer. I have been out of the computer field for 20+ years, although I have always had a personal computer of some type. Started off with one of the original Apple Mac's with a WHOPPING 128K memory! Still have it and it still works! (Make me an offer
Yes, has Steve Jobs signature molded inside the case!
When I first started we ran a 100+ million dollar company on a BASIC 4 computer with 3 external disk drives that were the size of a small dishwasher and held a TOTAL of 100 MB (yes megabytes) of data. That was for the whole company!
Still were some punch card machines around then. Probably only in a musuem now.
Anyway, just recently getting back into web business type stuff and I realize now how much everything has changed and keeps changing. In over my head but best way to learn is to dive in.
Most frustrating part to me is the lack of people wanting to talk on the PHONE
when discussing business matters. It is a timewaster in my humble opinion to go back and forth with a dozen emails and still be misunderstood. The phone works better in many cases I think.
Anyway, I hope to learn a lot here and do business with some of you.
Sincerely,
Neil K.
