The website is: Networkpearl (dot com) . I'm not sure how I can remove the pages at the above such as FAQS, News. and how can I call to action the "about" and "contact us" page?

Are you using any particular themes? and can you post a screen shot and briefly explain?

To manage your menus, just go to http://networkpearl.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php, regarding your second question you can browse through your theme docs here http://athemes.com/documentation/sydney/ there is video tutorial at section "e. Adding blocks to your pages" which I believe you can find the answer from it.
