HI,

can someone help please by explaining how the market sales work at Uniregistry?

What happens after the buyer has paid for the domain and the seller has transferred the name to Uniregistry ( in this case it was with another registrar )?

Is the push/disbursement automatically handled by Uniregistry? Or does the seller have to push the name then the disbursement happen?

Thank you very much

I've had only a few sales through uniregistry/domainnamesales.com, and I simply tell them I want to push the domain within my registrar only(usually godaddy).

They assign me someone to oversee the transfer. that person will start a escrow transaction and from there the buyer pays escrow. from there the process is just like any other escrow transaction.

I guess my process was different then. I wasn't offered the option of pushing within my registrar nor I was assigned anyone to oversee anything.

I followed the protocol of transferring the name to my Uniregistry account and before that the buyer had paid the amount to Uniregistry.
I have written several emails but after 30 hours or so we are still waiting to understand how to complete the transaction which still shows "sale pending".
No Escrow involved.
Does anyone know if there is a Uniregistry employee on the forum?

That looks like a dangerous route. Not only do you have to pay extra renewal fees, but you run the risk of hitting the new 60 day transfer restrictions.

Interesting, that must be something new. They don't normally handle the funds themselves like how sedo does. I hope it gets clarified for you real soon.

By TOS the names have to be at Uniregistry so if they are not there at the moment when the buyer checks out aka funds his account ( or however that works I don't know ) you must transfer them to your Unireg account. Which is what I did.
Now buyer and seller are stuck waiting to understand how to proceed because their support has yet to reply

It would be great if someone from @Uniregistry showed up and helped.
It also appears they have time to send promo emails around but not to reply to support emails.

I had a sale on October 17, they've paid me by PayPal on October 24. Their conditions are not quite clear to me though. I see they offer mid month payments for a fee of $50, so I selected monthly payments of course. Yet, money arrived after 7 days and disbursement fee was $10.

Can you please tell me how the process went?
I mean step by step...
Because I really do not understand how to make the transaction go any further. It shows sale pending and it seems that there are no clickable option both for me or the buyer to physically do anything.
Did Uniregistry move the name to the buyer's account or did you have to do it before receiving payment?

I have received few emails from them about that domain has sold, payment received etc, then they asked for an EPP code again by email.... All happened on a same day (October 17). Most things were handled by them, no interaction between me and a buyer.

Then, in my control panel the status went from pending sale to SOLD right after domain has transferred. They asked me for an EPP code and I approved the transfer, as usual. My registrar had expedited transfers so the domain was next day at Unireg.

After 7 days I got my money, so not much work from my side. I was satisfied with a way how they handle the procedure, just not happy with their disbursement fee. It was a low XXX deal and $10 fee was not welcomed, especially in comparison to Afternic's PayPal mass payment option with no fee. Also, Unireg took 20% from me since it was syndicated deal through one of their partners.
