Didn't think this was particularly web design or industry related, so decided to post here! Mods please move to a more appropriate forum if the oportunity arises! :)

Anyway. I have a spreadsheet (well... not at the moment, but thats besides the point). I want to be able to "add" (+) £25 to a cell (lets say A1) every month. So the forumla would be something like: =A1+25, but I only want to have it happen once a month.

How would I do this?

Thanks
Tom

have to use the today function (would you like me to look up the exact thing or do you know what I am talking about?)

would be easier if there were a sample

erm... never heard of the "today" function. Heard of the "now" function. I thought about putting in the current date, and then having a formula that would find the date today and take it away from the first date to see how many months have passed. But that is a little too complicated for me.

I am sorry, I don't have a spreadsheet for you to look at, and if I did, all it would have was a number in a cell which amounts to my earnings I already have.

Basically, I want to make sure I am getting the right amount of money each month. I want to log what I get every month into this spreadsheet, and then for it to work out how much money I should have (minus a column for whats spent, but I can do that). This way I can check that I am getting the money I should.

Thanks
