Help - stats program

Hey Everyone,

Well - since my host doesn't have anything good installed, like AnalogX, AWstats, or Urchin on the server, is there anything I can install myself? Obviously I can't install it in Cpanel or anything - but I am looking for a free, good, and very advanced stats program (preferably in PHP or CGI).

And if possible, is there any one that can monitor my whole server space, or does it have to use PHP includes for example to get the stats?

Please recommend some stuff and answer my questions,
I would really appreciate it;

Yeah, but there are thousands; and their search feature isn't the best in the world so I get a bunch of PPC stuff I don't want at all.

I just want an advanced statistics program that is free, if anything is free and compares to say Urchin or AWstats, but that I could install on my own hosting account on the FTP.

Why don't you just get a GOOD host and spend your time making money instad of installing scripts.... just a thought

Do you permissions to install scripts on your server ?
If yes, go for awstats, I have not came across any free stats software as good as awstats.

Nope, it would most likely have to be a PHP script that would use an include or something on each page (I think at least).

Any recommendations?

He replied back saying how they "didn't have the money to buy the licences at this time".

Who is your host?

How much space and bandwidth did you pay for? I may be able to host you for free.

Try webanalyse , if it works as they say at their site then it`s damn good (not as Awstat though)

well AWstats is free so your host must be really broke if they dont have the money for it ...lol

what a crappy host.. all 3 paid hosts I have been with have stat software
