I wanted to track who signs up on our site by using the conversion tracking tool in google adwords, but where do I place the code? Also in my ad, should I have the come the front page or the "Sign Up" page?

I would put it in one of subjects page in your forum,You would most likely do best sending potential members to the front where they can see what they are getting,And just make sure that there is a signup link or signup here link easy to see.You can run one campain one way,And if it does'nt get the results you want,Just add another campain. Your site is down i think????

The site is working now,Definatly the home page IMO,It shows them all the cats you have,Plus they can just signup right there aswell.Not sure about where to put the counter though.

Yes, I chaged the destination URL in the campaign to the main site, and put the conversion script in the "register" page.


Hope to see how this works out, I was thinking of going with overture, but I am not sure which will bring the best results in terms of traffic...
