Hello all,

Im useless at the web uploading part just cant seem to understand how to do it? Got a web site in a ziped folder and want to upload to a free hosting site but cant do it been trying for the past 2 hours >:( Please could someone explain how and help me

using smartFTP, Error code is 550? Why is that?

550 is Permission Denied. Are you sure your free hosting account allows ftp access? Some of them don't - you have to log in and use some feature in your account to "pull" the files up to the server.

Did you try unzipping the file before uploading it?

550 error means file not found, no access

Yeh its all unzipped, Im using Toadhosting.com and in there instructions they tell me to use smartFTP.

You must not have "permission" to write (upload files onto the server). You should contact the host.
