Help needed to develop a news site

hi,

i want to develop a website for domain and webhosting news.
i would have website like webhostdir.com ,myhostnews.com , hostreview.com .

Any ideas how to develop this type of site,
can i use wordpress or
just receive news mails and publish on my site

I want to know how to get news from the industry?
can i get permission from the famous web host news site to carry their news on my site.

I see no reasons why not to build this kind of web site using WordPress very good CMS

You could do this with Wordpress. However, collecting RSS feeds from other blogs can get your domain banned by Google because of duplicate content (my 3 domains were banned because I ran autoblogs on them). You need unique content.

I think that you web site first of all must be well designed with good layout.
It mast be attractiму (to be more exact honest) as for potential customers as for web hosting companies as for the existing customes. That will attarct more people and soon you will be able to earn some money on advertising.

Ok, I agree with serverpoint. I am ready to go for a new site.Is there any free or paid script or site , so that i can make some changes for my site.

I mean to tell that like phbb , phplink directory... which will look like my website.

I guess you are talking about Websitematic from Sibername.com? Has anybody tried using this sitebuilder? What are its pluses compare to Dreamweaver?
