I think it all depends on the use of the domain.
If they have a successful business plan, then with a relatively novel name, it will work.
Years ago someone made a business with Dan.com
They had a business plan already.
Could have been Fred.com , Leo.com , Stan.com , whatever.
They had a plan, did some marketing, and it worked.
If it's too expensive for the domain name, they'll move on & make something else work.
Only a small percentage of domains has exorbitant value just in the inherit name.
Even those names I see for sale, not getting a bid.
Depends on the trends. Back in 2018 if Blockchain was in the name it had value.
Now it's anything to do with AI
In a couple years it will be something else.
