Hey guys, I'm thinking of starting a software as a service around the domain name business (domaining) and I need your help to do so, I would really love to have your thoughts on those following questions: When you talk to your friends about it, what do you say? What do you think is the (your) biggest problem around domaining? What takes most of your time?

Hope you take some of your time to discuss this subject, maybe we could work together and build something that helps you and the community to become more efficient.

Wellcome to NamePros!

My friends and family don't know I'ma Domainer.

You can make a software that goes out knock on people's doors, sell my domains, collect the payment and deposit the check in "my" nigerian swiss account. :woot:

Hey EZPZYO, thanks for your welcome!
Let me ask you a question, what softwares/tools do you use in your secret life as a domainer?

My biggest domaining challenge is reaching the correct end users (potential buyers). Many outbound services have tried and failed. If you find the key to this my friend you will be very successful. Welcome by the way!

I don't really use any secret tools, I try to use my God given talent aka brains. BTW I agree with @Pierre Barnard

Selling is not the problem, selling is the challenge of every industry.

When I posted this topic, I was more thinking of:
  1. What can I do to help you lower the time you spent on domaining tasks?
  2. What can I do to make you more competitive against other domainers?
  3. What are some of the current solutions you're using, or have used in the past?
  4. What frustrates you most about current solutions out there?
  5. What features would you most like to see?

Time is not a big deal for me, I enjoy doing what I do I am assuming most of domainers here have real jobs and domaing is just an expensive hobby. The only feature we domainers would love to see is; :greedy:
