Help me choose my header.

It's been some time since I have changed my blog's header. Now I have created two headers and I am having difficulty choosing the right one.
So, I present to you the headers I have created...

#1. Retro: Simple, Clean, Easy to Read and not too distracting.

#2. Sleek: Stylish, Blended colors, Glass Effect, Reflections.

So, tell me which one looks better and deserves being my blog's header. Also have a look at my blog (Crazy Little World Of Mine) to have an idea how it will look. The colors are perfect to match my blog, any suggestions besides changing the color are welcome

Why the arrows in #2 ?

I'd go for something a little easier on the eyes, and less distracting - especially if you're only going to have the site name in it. Take #2, drop the arrows and make the text a lot smaller - maybe dumb down the gradient a little too I think that would look best.

I prefer the 1st...its less distracting than the gradient.

I think #2 is better. though if it was me, I would move the text to one side and have a picture relating to the site.

I like number one better but lose the "of mine" at the end.

You could make it a bit lower - there's slightly too much empty space on it.

Cooper: My site is a blog, so there is nothing specific I can put on one side. In my previous header, I had my photo. Here it is:

So, do you think it's ok to use the same photo in this header too?

Benod: People know my blog as "Crazy Little World Of Mine" and I prefer not to take away the "Of Mine" bit. In the sleek logo I was short of space that's why I took it off.

I have photoshopped the logos on to the blog to give you an idea of how it will look.

I like number one. It's simple, good-looking, and stylish its in own way. Just remove "of mine" part as Benod suggested.

Done, I have changed the header to #1. Personally I liked the Retro more but because some people said sleek is better, I thought it'd be best to ask here at NamePros. I guess I got my final choice

I loved the original one of the photo of your face. It matched the site so well and was quite unique. I would stay with that one.
