Help me avoid selling mistakes?

Hey guys, I have build my small portfolio of about 25 domains now. Can you please correct my assumptions about listing those for sale?

1. Am I allowed by marketplaces rules to list one domain everywhere? E.g. I list my domain.com on sedo, atom, afternic?

2. Am I allowed to put different prices on different marketplaces or it would be against their ToS?

3. Can I put on some places BIN and on the other "Make offer"?

4. I assume that GoDaddy auctions is for low-key domain names, like one of my.cc domains?

I appreciate any inputs or if you can point me to a thread where all this is discussed, as there should be such but I was not able to find it.

.US domains.US domains
Lastly I would like to ask am I allowed to list my domain names in those marketplaces, but having my own landing page which is pushing the buyer for a direct sale ?

Hi

why didn’t you ask for help to avoid “buying mistakes”,first?
:)
because…if you purchase low quality names, then doesn’t matter where they’re listed.

also, learn to use forums search function,
and “read”, the TOS of each marketplace you plan to use.

imo…

You don't have restrictions: you can list the same domain on multiple marketplaces with different type of sale. Remember to remove any domains you no longer own

Well.. about buying mistakes I already read and also made some. I have been spending last two weeks researching domain names handregs - I have checked over 400 000 domain names for availability and researched about 1200 that were available. Ended up buying 20-30.

And this is why I thought someone can be kind enough and will want to share some info about the "selling mistakes".

Anywho, I will ask the AI for the answers. The humanity is getting redundant, unfortunately.

1. Yes.

2. Yes. Many sellers set different prices on each marketplace, based on that marketplace's commissions/fees.

3. Yes.

4. Not necessarily.

You cannot list there directly (nowadays), but all Afternic-listed domains appear on GD Auctions.

Hi @Mader,
One note on BIN vs. Make Offer. From Afternic data, domains with a BIN price are 3-4x more likely to sell than those without one.

It’s likely the same story across other marketplaces too - but at least on Afternic, price your domains.

Thanks! This information, along with your point-by-point clarifications, is really helpful for new members.

You can put them anywhere, but with bad names that do not change much.
