Hi,

What a fantastic resource this is...

I sold my first website late last year for 15k Australian - not bad I thought for a first time unexpected sale. Domaining is not my day job however since the sale and buzz of the negotiation process I've caught the bug and now want to increase my knowledge and skills in this area - maybe even become a real NamePro!!!

I spend a lot of time working as a music producer and specifically with the development of IP for bands and projects - I would be very interested to find someone in this community that knows a lot about myspace URL as well, as I have a few questions regarding acquiring specific myspace URL's to match with the already owned .coms

If someone in the know sees this, please contact me urgently as I'm eager to register some new .coms and myspace URLs shortly.

Thanks for your time,

Which is the best domain registrar for value for money?

Thanks for the reply...

Had a look at your site domainbell.com - very impressive list of names you have for sale.

A quick question - who do you recommend for registering names in bulk with?

I only have a few names at the moment however keen to do a bulk registration soon to try and save money. I've only ever used GoDaddy and am very new to the domain world - is there a much cheaper/better option out there instead of GoDaddy, which on my initial quick searches seems to be the best value for money...

Thanks :)

Welcome to NamePros, What type of site did you sell? "Myspace" is probaly trademarked and should not be within a domain you own.

Hi johname,

re: myspace

If I own a .com eg LLL.com

I then want to register using a valid email address the following URL via myspace.

www.myspace.com/LLL

however I'm finding that most of the time the names I want to register (for legitimate bands/projects) are already taken by teenagers in various parts of the world.

What I specifically need to find out are IP (intellectual property) rights in the USA that relate to the use of the myspace URL by someone that is not really using that name for any other reason except personal use.

If someone on NamePro is very in the know with USA IP rights in relation to both .coms and myspace URL'S then please contact me - I have lots of questions, knowledge and info to share in relation to this area.
