Good decision. However, I doubt if NamePros is a place where a lot of big sales happening. As this site is for experts, you should not expect sales at end customer prices here. You could definitely connect with fellow domainers and learn a lot here though. if you ever want, you can use it to quickly liquidate domains too.

As a beginner, I would suggest you to spend less and learn more. There are plenty of articles available here for beginners. Checking them out would save you money and time.
