Hello There,

I was bored last night so decided to start reading up about domain flipping, I managed to stumble across this forum. I own my own forum actually (won't be spamming it here don't worry), it's inside the top 20 biggest forums online in it's niche. I work online full time because of it and I'm very grateful, it gives me the chance to spend my days learning about other ways to make money online.

I see a lot of value in flipping domains given the correct approach, I never rush into things and that has served me very well throughout my life. I'm married and we are just about to move into our new house, literally, as in this week so life is fucking great right now and I'm excited about learning this stuff too.

Welcome! Just the skill set required to run a successful forum will give you many options if you decide to venture into this. Time is another plus that you mentioned in your intro. I imagine you've picked up some marketing skills too.

Have a plan for each domain before you buy it. If your looking to flip, identify your prospects before you buy it. Be very discriminate if there aren't several clear prospects.

Flipping geographical service domains is a good way to break in. These types of domains are easy to find using Google KW Planner and cheap to acquire. The prospects are even easier to find but, on average, require a bit more coddling to understand the benefits and also the technical aspects of the sale. It's a good way to learn the ropes and low risk too. Target the 300 largest cities in USA. Example: MiamiDogTraining.com or MiamiDinnerCruise.com.

As for a site recommendation, ZFBot.com is great free domaining tool that doesn't get much pub.

How proficient are you at site building? That makes a difference in choosing a strategy.

Wow, great invaluable advice thanks so much I just took some notes from your post. I just bookmarked website as well, I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out like that. The GEO stuff sounds promising I must say.

I do have some pretty good skill sets but not sure they will offer much when it comes to this, I guess the fact that I use SECockpit and own the MS keyword tool will help me out. I have nothing but time on my hands which IMO is my best asset when starting out with anything.

Yes, in it's niche. I don't know about domain purchasing, so what advice would I give here?
