Hey folks!

Well, I'm another who has been bitten by the domaining bug. But, considering how long I've been doing online projects here and there, it's been long time coming.

If it hadn't been for the fact someone approached me recently for a domain I owned, PremiumThemesClub.com (sold for $275), I probably wouldn't be here.

Over a year ago I bought a few solid five letter domains (I don't know why), but I didn't start studying domaining.

Now though, I'm giving it a serious look.

Anyway, thanks for the great resource here.

I hope to learn from you all, and contribute in the future.

I was hoping to turn that domain into a business designing and selling premium WordPress themes, but it never transpired.

I had absolutely no idea what to sell the name for, so I just took a guess at $300 and took the counteroffer.

It's quite a buzz turning $7 into three figures

Question: do you have to build your post count before people start taking notice when you ask for an appraisal? (just wondering).

Sadly, it can be tough getting appraisals for a variety of reasons.. post count generally has nothing to do with it.

It's a shame, really. I have a few domains and I'd love to just get some 'idea' of what worth people would place on them before I sell them.
