Hi Everyone,

I recently joined Namepros and have been looking around what appears to be an excellent site.

I got bitten by the domaining bug several months ago, and have been trying to learn as much as possible about the industry ever since.

I purchased what I believe is a reasonably valuable domain quite recently, and hope to list it for sale on here in the near future.

Hi Steve, welcome to NamePros!
If you are new to domaining, I would recommend reading a lot of appraisals.
If your new domain turns out to be worth $xxx or less, then I would hold it, or list it on Godaddy/afternic.
The lower priced sales forums in here are haunted by bargain hunters (like me).

I believe my domain is worth over $500, and I was going to list it in the Over $500 Fixed Price section on Namepros. Is that OK? I am already listing it on Sedo.

Of course it's OK!
Just be prepared in case someone doesn't agree with your valuation.
They aren't always gentle with their remarks.

OK, great I'll bear this in mind, thanks for the advice. I try to be as objective, logical and fair as possible with my valuations, but I realize that people will always have different opinions. I've got a pretty thick skin so, if someone thinks I've got it wrong, I'll take it on the chin... :great:
