Hello, I'm new to the domain business and have a question: If a .com is already owned and you purchase the .net or .us, etc., are you breaking any rules/laws, provided the domain name contains generic terms (even if the .com is a developed site?)?

Also, I have a few good adult and casino names that I'd like to part with (PM me if interested),

Welcome.

You could get into legal trouble with a trademark infragement... But if the .COM owner/business doesn't have a Trademark, then you can register the other extenstions.

As long as there isn't a trademark everything is perfectly fine
There are specific catagories to post your domains in to sell! also you can try advertising once an hour in the live chat! :D

I'm in the process of having some domains I purchased transferred (all .com, .net, .us, etc.). What is the best registrar to use as far as transfer fees? (right now I use 1and1.com),
