Its a nice generic term, but the commercial uses of the domain name are really limited. I am surprised to see several sponsored links on Google, but I dont know how high this domain is really going to go. But I am curious.

Bear in mind that Heart Surgeons are among the richest doctors...and it might be a nice vanity name.

I think the seller is doing a big big mistake by putting it on eBay. He should've contacted doctors personally

IMO, it would only have been a (potential) "mistake" if the seller had listed the name on eBay without a reserve, which s/he didn't do. If the seller recently sought an appraisal/estimate on DNF, then I'm guessing the reserve is set fairly high - at least in the ballpark of that estimate. If nothing else, by using eBay, the seller attracts at least some attention to his name, gauges at least some level of market interest, and, what the heck, could even get someone to make an offer that's acceptable to him (if the reserve is not met).

Which in no way detracts from your thought that selling the name on eBay is perhaps not the most savvy way to sell high quality names like this. Finding a wealthy end user would perhaps have brought in more revenue for this name. But it's also a time-consuming process, which perhaps the owner (or broker) wasn't willing to undertake.
