Try and find names where there is a clear commercial use for the domain. Something that clearly describes an activity, or a word or phrase that a company can brand around.

Spend time looking at what sells - namebio.com is a good start. Look at what generates interest here on namepros. You'll see lots of auctions where people don't bid, and others where people go wild - try and understand what causes this.

Domaining isn't an exact science. But you do progressively get to know what might have potential - but still easy to make stupid purchases

But think about why it has no value.

In a commercial sense companies target customers based on drink type - beer, wine etc. They don't go after "alcohol drinkers". The word alcohol actually has some negative connotations so companies are eager to avoid it (despite selling drinks with it in)

Hellobeer.com for example wouldn't be a bad domain and would probably be worth quite a lot. It would make for a great marketing url, to be used in a advertising campaign. It's got a party vibe to it.

Helloalcohol.com however sounds like something a hobo would say whilst swigging down some mouthwash

It's better than hello alcohol and at least makes a little sense - health spas are a big thing.

That said, not taken in any other extension suggests its not a phrase commonly used so might be a tough sell. I'd price it low and hope for the best. If no interest after a year consider dropping.

For a hand reg it's not too bad.
