Hay, I'm new here, I have some basic knoledge about domains, and just wanted to get one. Someone told me I can get a free domain name by posting here but I havn't found anything about it. Can someone please tell me how that works? Thanks

First off, welcome to the community!

To get your free domain, you'll need to earn NameBucks (NP$). During the first 90 days your account is active, you won't earn NP$ for regularly posting. However, you can complete the various incentives in the "NP$ Incentives" forum to gain them from other members. :tu:

Why don't I get money for posting until 90 days are over? Well anyway, where can I find these incentives? And where do the domain names get registered when I buy them?

Thanks man. Also, I see NP being sold in one of the links in the menu, for like 2 cents a peice. At 2 cents a peice 450NP is like $9, but domains can be registered elsewhere cheaper for that. Is there someone I could pay in NP to register a domain for me somewhere cheaper or is that against the rules? If it is sorry for bringing it up.

NP$ has true monetary value backed by NamePros. There shouldn't be a problem paying someone in NP$ for registering a domain name. However, if you just go to the incentives forum, you'll see some pretty good deals.
