I want to sell the very brandable domain HaveYouSeenThisApp.com

Yes, i know it's long.

But think about the success of for example ThisIsWhyImBroke.com or DownForEveryoneOrJustMe.com

If the domain is brandable and sticky enough, the length isn't an issue.

I had (and still have) an idea on how to monetize the domain which I will present here:

I had the idea of a newsletter where people (app-users, app-creators, journalists, tech-bloggers etc) could sign up with their email adresses and get a newsletter once a week with the newest apps.

Totally free of course.

And to build up a huge following so that I could sell premium top ad spots within the newsletter to advertisers that are in the app business.

Actually I have already made a lot of work into this when it comes to the design part and functionality so if someone (the right person) wants to partner on this rather than to buy the domain straight from me I would be happy to hear about your ideas.

Maybe you are already in the newsletter business and have experience?

The other and probably better idea would be to have a blog where app-developers could submit their new apps (android&apple) and I would showcase them on the site.

The app-developers would of course be the ones that contributes with texts&content so that the site would take minimal time to maintain.
No long time spending on writing reviews.

Just upload material (url, images, logo, title, texts) that is sent in by app-developers and publish the ones you think would fit!

And to turn this blog into a money making machine with 3 different income streams:

1. Direct sales (banners and text links)

2. Affiliate banners

3. Adsense

The brand "Have You Seen This App" would attract people because of curiousity.
The brand itself makes people want to visit the site because they will instantly understand that the site is about new apps.

And the policy of the site could be to ONLY post apps that are no more than 6-12 months old.
In that way, visitors wouldnt have to look at apps that are 2-3 years old.

People always want to look at fresh new content. 5-10 new apps per day.
By having a strict policy guideline of only posting apps that are 6-12 months old, the visitors are sure to see fresh apps.

I like the site ProductHunt, but this site will be ONLY for apps.
Of course, if people have a website also thats fine, but the main purpose is to link to apps whether they are android or iOS.

And who wouldnt want to have a go-to place for new apps?

I have a list of sites where it's possible to find the newest and most popular apps so it's not a problem to find new content.
Eventually app-developers will submit all the content so it wouldnt require any time to go find apps manually.

I know what you're thinking, there are already a ton of app-review sites.
But, I dont want to run a review site.

Im thinking more of a submit-app site where the editors chose which apps that should be published and which should not.

One guideline could be to prove that the app submitted has a minimum of 1000 downloads per months.

To fill a website with garbage apps is not a very good idea.

The app business is ever green. People will always come up with ideas for new apps to develop and they need to get them published on blogs about apps to attract users/downloads.
And advertisers in the app business are ready to spend money in this multi-billion-dollar broad niche.

The reason I didnt launch this website was because of the fact that I work simultaneously on another website that now takes up most of my time.

So, either I sell this curious and VERY brandable domain HaveYouSeenThisApp.com, or alternatively find a cool partner that has been waiting for an opportunity like this who wants to get the domain and run a site on it as a joint venture deal.

I have worked as a branding consult since 2005 and I know a good brand vs a bad brand in a millisecond and this one is brandable as H*LL. It really sticks.

I have freelancers in Pakistan and India who works 3 hours for 5$.
So, if one of these freelancers spend 3 hours each day finding domains and also accept new submissions, it will cost 150$ per month (5$ X 30 days = 150$)

Hysta.net is included.
(Hysta.com was unfortunately taken)

Waiting for offers or suggestions.
