Who here forgot to renew one domain? I raise my hand...

Many years ago I lost at least 3 domains with crappy registrars assigned by Pool.com, because I never received the renewal email.

And they were good...

I also lost some domains in the Registerfly debacle...

Now I always transfer domains I buy to safe places, as soon as I can...

Never ever rely on the renewal E-mails. Keep a list.

That was many years ago. Now I transfer domains right away, and renew them for many years. I never repeat the same mistake twice...

I lost some way back in the 90's when it was difficult & expensive to register/renew.. I can't remember them all, one that comes to mind which hacked me off as I was developing a website for it was "Tutorials.net". Network solutions lost it by mistake & appologized to me but told me there was nothing they could do now that someone else had it.

better renew domain name before 3 month expires or 1 year more....
I also lost domain name last year.........So Sad...

yeah i lost a number domain at moniker.. i dint receive a renewal email.. sad.. and by the time i find out it was too late..
