i just noticed that meinrecht.de sold for 12k...the words mein recht mean (my right) in germany this is according google translation

I buy domains in different languages but only after careful research, checking namebio for related sales and also check whether the same keyword/s domain is registered/developed in different extensions or not.

Yes, I also used to register names in Spanish. I still own some for non-domaining professional activities, but I rarely market a name in Spanish, since I have found out (generally) only premium names have a chance. The Spanish domain market is, sadly, a few light years away from the English domain market.

It is difficult sometimes because of residency restrictions for some countries.

I once had some dot IT domains through Godaddy, but I had to use their special service that allowed me to reg the domains even though I did not live in Italy.

Was a bit expensive though, and I did not renew those domains.
