.mobi Have we past the stage of „only mobile related domains“ are good?

In the beginning there were many opinions at NP an elsewhere that the best thing to register are short names that are related to mobile phones. Has mobi past this point and moved on to the next level?

I was always thinking that .mobi was at that next level...while mobile-related is great for .mobi, there will be no limitations on subject matter that works. If there's useful content, the users will be there.
