Hey guys :)

I am really new at this and don't know how it works.. can someone help me?

I have the domain GoGreed.com and have received an email from someone who is interested in buying it - only thing is, I don't know how much to charge? I would like to send him a reply soon, so would appreciate your replies as promptly as you can (hope this doesn't sound too bossy - I am not like that ..lol)

It's not developed at all - and has only been registered a few weeks.

Thanks heaps for your time :)

Cindy

Hmmm....low Google - 3710, no overture rating, no history /archives....

Sounds like you have a one-off got-lucky buyer...or you might have a scam offer, which happens a lot. If the interest e-mail is short and sweet, you may have a legit buyer. (Do a whois on the IP from the e-mail.) If he's for real, and doesn't end up asking you to get the domain appraised from a company he suggests (big scam), then you have a couple of choices:

1. Ask him to make you a fair offer, and go from there.
2. Offer him a fair price, and go from there.

How much is the name worth to you? How much would you pay for it? If your research doesn't turn up anything special about the potential buyer, be thinking in low numbers $xx or $xxx. $xx for his offer; $xxx for your offering price to him.

Really be mindful of scammers. If his e-mail is more than a couple sentences, contains a Ph.D. after a Swedish sounding name or just explains his interest too much....watch out.

Good luck.
